Watch Dogs has already set one record, holding the best day one sales of any Ubisoft title, but now after it’s first week on the market, Watch dogs is now the fastest best selling new IP…ever. When we first saw Watch Dogs three years ago, Ubisoft promised a lot; dense open world, hacking as a weapon, and complete control over a city. Even though Watch Dogs doesn’t completely fulfill these promises, it has definitely paved a road for a franchise to build upon.
Glenn Beck, the host of The Blaze, has thrown out some ridiculous accusations about video games and technology in general on his show; Call of Duty causing suicides, video games causing violence, and the most absurd…Watch Dogs teaching people how to hack into people’s personal lives. Now we hear a lot of exaggerated claims in news and media but what I can’t stand is the lack of research behind these claims. Why do people blame video games more than any other entertainment medium?
Ubiblog has announced that Watch Dogs has sold more copies in its first 24 hours than any previous Ubisoft title. CEO of Ubisoft, Yves Guillemot, states:
A new action short for Watch Dogs has been posted on YouTube by devinsupertramp; an intense foot chase through the streets of Chicago. Check it out…

The 3 screenshots include the games protagonist, Aiden Pierce, wandering the streets of Chicago. Even though the buildup to its release has been over saturated with content, it’s a nice reminder that in about a week we will finally be able to roam around Watch Dogs’ Chicago for ourselves.
